SAGE Group jumped eight places in the InDaily South Australian Business Index for 2023 – a ranking of the state’s top 100 most successful companies – this year placing at number 38 on the index.
This year marked the ninth year of the Business Index, with more than 15 new South Australian businesses debuting on the list.
For SAGE Group, being named at number 38 on the index highlights the significant growth of the business in the last financial year.
“We’re incredibly proud to be named on the InDaily South Australian Business Index again, alongside the state’s leading businesses,” said SAGE’s General Manager for South Australia, Andrew Naffin.
“In the last financial year, SAGE has experienced solid business growth across every sector we work in. As an organisation, we have also continued to broaden our capability by investing in sought-after services, such as our cyber security offering,” he said.
An industrial digitalisation services provider, SAGE Group incorporates companies SAGE Automation, Nukon, Skills Lab, and Embedded Expertise.
Headquartered in Tonsley Innovation District in Adelaide, SAGE employs more than 720 people, with 18 offices spread across Australia and India. SAGE’s Advanced Manufacturing Centre designs and manufactures products that are shipped all over the world, such as panels for self-service bag drop facilities in international airports.
This year’s list announcement also noted a number of economic and industry pressures which contributed to several changes in the list.
Judging for the Index takes into consideration factors such as market capitalisation and revenue in the 2022-2023 financial year. Both public and private companies are considered and are required to be a South Australian entity with an Adelaide ownership register or be a South Australian-operated entity. Companies are also required to be founded and majority-owned by South Australians (more than 50 percent).
The list, compiled for InDaily by Adelaide financial services firm Taylor Collison, is the state’s most definitive guide to South Australia’s top companies.
